3 Customer success stories from InCloud Solutions

Customers come to us for all kinds of reasons – they might be looking for greater visibility over their operations or they might need to streamline complex business processes so that everyone can access a single source of truth. They might be looking to minimise duplication, error and effort within thier core financials or looking to move to the cloud for a more cost effective and reliable alternative to legacy systems that no longer deliver.

We learn so much by listening to our customers – everyone is different and many bring us challenges that push us into areas where we have to be more creative and inventive than ever before. And yet – you might be surprised to learn – that many of the same issues come up time and again. When you meet us to tell us about your situation, it is quite likely that we’ve tackled your problem before.

We’ve brought together some of our customer stories to shed light on some of the most common problems we have been able to solve with a combination of our expertise and the ERP superstar that is SAP Business ByDesign.

The large-scale rollout

“We had a number of legacy systems we wanted to replace and we chose Business ByDesign because we wanted a cloud ERP solution that was flexible enough to meet the different elements of our business. It helps us stay in control and current with the latest version of the software. We can perform inter-company transactions without the need for messy integrations.” Liz Parsons

Liz Parsons is Head of Technology at Lloyd’s Register, specifically in charge of the huge Step-Up Programme which has seen SAP Business ByDesign being rolled out to 7 thousand employees worldwide.

Lloyd’s Register is a technical and business services organisation and a maritime classification society dating back to 1760. Its stated aims are to enhance the safety of life, property, and the environment, by helping its clients ensure the quality construction and operation of critical infrastructure.

With operations in 78 countries Lloyd’s Register was facing increasing complexity in managing its operations and wanted to take advantage of the opportunities being offered by the digital economy.

InCloud Solutions were the SAP partner selected to implement the system with a brief to simplify and enhance the company’s finance, project management, project resourcing and human resources (HR) processes, helping Lloyd’s deliver on its commitment to keep employees at the heart of its business.

Their users are really starting to see the benefits of being able to control their projects, including how well they are performing and what they are costing the company. For head of technology Liz Parsons the beauty of the system is having everybody on a single platform.

When compliance is your No1 concern

TasteTech LogoTasteTech

TasteTech is a family run company making controlled-release food flavourings and ingredients for the food industry. Based in Bristol, they are pioneers in flavour encapsulation technology as used in chewing gum, confectionary and sports nutrition.

While guarding the secret recipes of many of their customers TasteTech must also offer very high levels of safety and efficiency. They are frequently asked to sign non-disclosure agreements to protect the intellectual property of their customers. They must also comply with very strict British standards for food manufacturing. Rob Sinton, Supply Chain Manager and owning family member says;

“Food safety is at the forefront of everything that we do which in turn helps to build customer trust.”

Correct labelling is paramount and everything must be traceable on its journey in and out of the factory.

By working in partnership with InCloud Solutions they have streamlined their production and distribution processes while gaining greater transparency and control over operations. Today, checks are faster, labelling more accurate and they can make changes more simply as they add products to their portfolio – all of which enhances their reputation for quality.

Making Projects more Productive

“We had been inefficient but InCloud Solutions worked with us so we could learn how to do the basic things well. My experience of working with InCloud Solutions has been really really positive.”

Kirsty Williford – Head of Finance – Iris

IRIS Service Delivery UK are key players in the roll-out of cutting-edge technology across the Telecoms sector. Ultimately owned by Nokia, they upgrade and service base stations on behalf of all the major telecoms networks.

Kirsty Williford’s main concern was that her project managers should get full visibility and control of their own work – while also allowing her as Finance Director to get a complete overview of how they were performing.  With the help of the InCloud Solutions team – we were able to set up Business ByDesign so that the system gave her exactly the information she needed to do her job well.

Sometimes it is that simple!
